Brazilian Grand Prix 2022 – Sprint results


Full results from the 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix sprint race, with George Russell taking P1 for tomorrow’s main race.

George Russell will start the Brazilian Grand Prix from pole position after passing Max Verstappen in Sao Paulo.

The Mercedes driver took advantage of DRS to slipstream past the Red Bull driver and secure P1 at Interlagos.

Carlos Sainz finished second, with Lewis Hamilton third, but Sainz will be penalized five places, resulting in a Mercedes one-two on the grid.

Kevin Magnussen, the polesitter, received one point for finishing eighth.
