Bundesliga: Dolberg-Wechsel zur TSG Hoffenheim rückt näher
The Danish World Cup striker Kasper Dolberg could already strengthen TSG 1899 Hoffenheim at the start of training next week.
According to information from the German Press Agency, the negotiations between the Baden Bundesliga club and the 25-year-old are well advanced, but the club has not yet reported any completion. According to “Bild”, Dolberg should be loaned out by Hoffenheim until the end of the season. For this, his parent club OGC Nice would have to cancel their loan contract with FC Sevilla, where he had hardly been used recently.
Dolberg is under contract with Nice until 2024. The center forward switched from Ajax Amsterdam to Nice in 2019 for around 20 million euros. There he scored 24 goals in 85 games. The Kraichgauer currently have personnel problems in attack, as Ihlas Bebou (knee) and Munas Dabbur (shoulder) were seriously injured. Bebou has not played a single game of the season yet. The duo has recently been training again. Hoffenheim will start the new year with the first practice session next Monday.
