Star striker Sadio Mané has resumed running training after his injury at FC Bayern. As announced by the Munich team, the Senegalese attacker did a few laps around the training ground on Säbener Strasse.
Mané suffered a tendon rupture on his right fibula head at the beginning of November and therefore missed the World Cup in Qatar. Munich hope that the 30-year-old will be ready to play again in the first leg of the Champions League on February 14 at Paris Saint-Germain.
Mané’s compatriot Bouna Sarr (30) completed an individual session. After his knee operation in mid-September, the full-back was “again able to train more intensively with the ball and hit crosses again,” as it was said.
