Let’s travel together.

NBA Yahoo DFS Plays for Wednesday, November 16

We have 10 NBA DFS games scheduled, and we’ll be identifying ideal targets for all positions. The game with the highest projected total is the Celtics-Hawks game, but there are several other exploitable spots on the slate. We’ll try to avoid obvious choices like Giannis Antetokounmpo in favor of unique value.

CHA LaMelo Ball ($48) vs. IND

We’ve been waiting a long time to call Ball’s number, but he’s fully recovered and in a great position as of Wednesday evening. The Pacers could be without Tyrese Haliburton, opening up backcourt seams for Ball to weave through. Since his return, he’s averaged 16 points, 7.5 assists, and 5.0 rebounds, and we expect those numbers to rise steadily.

DEN’s Jamal Murray ($22) vs. NYK’s

The Nuggets will be without Nikola Jokic for an extended period of time, so it will be up to Murray and his supporting cast to carry the offense. Murray is still not his usual self after the arc, but he’s generating a lot of fantasy value, so his low salary is justified. Through 12 games, he’s averaging 16.2 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.5 rebounds. According to the game script, his assist totals may be lower on Wednesday, but his shot volume will most likely be higher.

@ CHA: Bennedict Mathurin, IND ($20).

We’re at the end of our rope with both of our forward candidates. If Tyrese Haliburton misses as expected, Mathurin has benefited greatly whenever Haliburton is on the bench. Although he’ll most likely come off the bench, the salary is simply too good for the rookie, who has the ability to go on a run at any time. His upside makes him an excellent value addition.

MIA Caleb Martin ($15) @ TOR

We know you’ll have your sights set on Wednesday’s elites, and you’ll be overjoyed to fill out your roster with big names when someone like Martin is there to save you money. Tyler Herro is out, and Bam Adebayo’s status is unknown. Almost every center on the roster is out with an injury, and Martin is a hybrid forward capable of stretching the floor with his shooting and playing multiple positions. He typically posts strong secondary numbers, and you can bet his volume will be higher in this scenario.

Rudy Gobert, MIN ($27), plays at ORL.

The Magic’s roster is littered with injury designations, the majority of which are in the frontcourt. While some players may lose their designation by gametime, Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns ($40) should be able to take advantage of the situation. You can add Timberwolves to your roster with little concern for decreased production. This is a fantastic spot for the entire roster.
